Hand Comparison

Peggy Sue's hands compared with Anne-Marie's which are the same size.

What do you think?

Peggy Sue's hands don't have as much definition or shaping to them as Annie's do.

A coat and hat for Peggy Sue

I finished the coat and hat last night, and it just had to be for Peggy Sue, it suits her perfectly I think and fits well too.

I just love it on her.

I trimmed the hat with a navy blue ribbon and a vintage button

I think I will probably change the buttons on her coat when I find the right ones.

I do love this girl, she really has something I think.

I do think though that she may have replacement hands, they just don't quite look right to me, a bit too basic...I will have to do a photo comparison.  I didn't realise when I bought her, or even when she arrived but comparing her I think that they probably aren't her original hands, which is a bit sad and I wish they were, but still it shows that she must have been loved enough for someone to make new ones for her.

On my needles.

A coat for...either Chrissy, or maybe Peggy Sue, depending on whether it will go with her purple dress.

The collar is now complete so set to work on the sleeves this evening.

Finished the knitted dress

After having a Ketamine Infusion today I needed a very quiet afternoon, so I finished the last few rows on this dress and sewed the buttons on.  I quite like the fit on Peggy Sue.  I think if I would change anything I would make the bodice slightly tighter fitting and perhaps a bit shorter.

Revisiting a knitted coat

A while back I made a coat for Anne-Marie and while it fitted her, she really wouldn't have been able to wear anything underneath so I thought I would try it on Peggy Sue today as she really wanted to go outside for a walk.

It fits over her Christmas dress quite nicely.  Although still not perfect on her, I do think it is a better fit for her than for Anne-Marie.

I love this photo of her.

Just because...

Nanoblocks

While in Paris I saw these packets of nanoblocks and thought how cute they were and how perfect for dolls.

I bought two packets, the first one being perfect for Christmas of course.

They are ever so small and it is years since I have done any building with lego.

The instructions were pretty clear to follow and I made good progress.

Starting to get there...

Finished!  Of course the advantage of taking a photo is seeing the bits that didn't quite go together properly...must go and fix those!
