Ronald, Rosie and Amy Lynn were seen near the pond today discussing how they might attract frogs back into the pond. I would love to know what their ideas are!

Xanthe makes a friend & Rosie's twin brother Ronald arrives.
Xanthe is pleased have a little friend to play with - she was feeling lonely all on her own.
I think Poppy is trying to explain something...
....and it was THIS big...
Of course just quite WHAT was that big, we can only guess...
Ah...perhaps she was talking about her teddy?
Getting to know each other.

Rosie got a surprise today...
Her twin brother has finally been reunited with her and they were so delighted to see each other and had a big hug.
Amy Lynn joins them outside to say hello to Rosie's brother.
Little Ronald is a happy little chap and is pleased to be in the UK and out of his travelling box.
These two are just so very happy to be together again.
The girls listen on while being told about Ron's journey to the UK.

Some new arrivals...
Oh dear, while there have been some departures ...we have said goodbye to Bonnie Blue Blythe, a Katie Copy Cat, a barbie and almost goodbye to Sheena (awaiting payment)... oh and of course the Moana family who have 'emigrated' to Hittyville....there have been some new arrivals as well. Not sure how that happened!
So my debt has not been reduced...if anything it has risen slightly again. Sigh...
Anyway we will ignore that for now.
The three new arrivals are:
Utz, Ron & Otti
They wander outside and meet Rosie and Amy Lynn
The girls are delighted to meet the new children and welcome them warmly
Amy Lynn and Rosie tell them all about what it is like to live here.
They are very excited to have some more playmates.

Oakleigh, little Leaf Elf.
What are Amy Lynn and Rosie doing?
Looks like they are trying to coax a little leaf elf down...I don't think they are having much luck.
They explain their dilemma to Connery and Sandra
Sandra is pretty sure she can coax him down...
Sure enough she does.
Now who may you be wee fellow?, Sean Connery asks the little leaf elf.
I'm Oakleigh, the little elf replies.
Sandra and Connery invite the little elf to stay with them and offer him something warm to eat.
You are welcome to stay with us, they tell him. We don't have much yet, but it is a home, and surely is better than sleeping out in the cold at this time of year.
Oakleigh is delighted to be invited to stay.
A little later he can be found making friends with Amy Lynn and her pet rabbit, Carly and Rosie with her pet Guinea pig Twinkle.

No more standing on one leg
Rosie and Amy Lynn have finally decided that they have had enough of standing on one leg! Phew!
Instead today they decide to venture out in the garden. A lovely day, cold and windy, but with blue sky and the sun shining it looked inviting.
Personally I felt they were a bit under dressed to be venturing out in temperatures of 2 degrees Celsius!

Can you stand on one leg?
Rosie - Darcy Joann, has informed me that all little girls with red hair like hers are called Rosie. Apparently she has it on good authority as she has spoken to Rosie over at Hittyville and so her name is Rosie, no other name is suitable. So who is to argue with a strong minded six year old?
Anyway, Rosie and Amy Lynn are having a little competition.
I can stand on one leg. Can you do this Rosie? Amy Lyn asks Rosie.
After several attempts Rosie too has a big smile on her face.
Yes I can! She exclaims. Shall we see how long we can stand on one leg for?
and that is how I left them....goodness knows how long they will keep it up for!
