Trolls & Doll Props.

Mushrooms are popping up everywhere and Topsy and Turvy are delighted as are the twins who have just joined them.  Looks like there will be plenty for supper, Topsy tells the twins.

I'm always on the lookout for props and was delighted today when I found these.  A kettle, a frying pan and a pot.  

They will be perfect for Peggy Sue.  

I also found this hand painted plate that is also just the right size for Peggy Sue.

Peggy Sue is wondering how long it will be before she will be able to have cooking lessons.

Aren't they just the perfect little props.

Topsy & Turvy discover some tasty delights!

Fungi!  (Are they mushrooms?)

I know of at least two little characters will be pleased to see these signs that Autumn is upon us...damp grass all day and the appearance of these fungi.

I was right, it wasn't long before Topsy and Turvy discovered them.

It seems Turvy was so excited he couldn't wait to get stuck in....nom, nom, nom...

It seems the wet weather has attracted some trolls.

Norbert has been happily tramping along and is joined by Ding Dong

Meanwhile Turvy is in a state of distress as he can't find Topsy ANYwhere!

When he comes upon the new trolls he is quite worried...perhaps they have kidnapped Topsy.

He asks them if they have seen her....

Norbert just looks up in the air with a rather vague expression...

Ding looks interested....Dong has gone (in the head ) it appears ...ooooh he says...

Norbert continues to look befuddled...

Ding just smiles on benignly ...

Oooohhh Dong exclaims....Ooohhh

I don't think Turvy is going to get much joy from them!

Topsy Troll has been creative

Oh dear, oh dear...I found Topsy rummaging around in a bag of fabric today, I wonder what she has planned?

I should have guessed, a spot of dressmaking!

Hmm..um...yes, Topsy, very um...interesting...

What ARE you standing on?

About a Troll

The other day, upended in a box of old toys in a charity languished this troll, with a rather tatty dress on.

Well the troll must have spotted me, because before I knew what had happened, it had followed me home insisting that it belonged at our house!

The troll hasn't revealed his/her name yet...apparently I should know it already!

Still it seems quite happy with the little outfit I made today.

Just discovered the trolls name is Topsy!  Apparently Turvey is someone out there...
