A Trunk for Peggy Sue

While on holiday on the Isle of Wight, we found this wonderful trunk for Peggy Sue.

Peggy Sue is intrigued...

She opens it up.

Is this really for me she asks?

Look I can sit in it!

AND lie in it!  It is just the most perfect size for me.

We are hoping to probably line the trunk together...she has to choose the fabrics!

Look at my cup.  Do you think it is a good size?

I was given this by a kind lady in the shop at Godshill Model Village.

Some how I think she looks like she is up to mischief.

A short while later....

Hello Peggy Sue...I see you have Little Owen with you.

Is that who you had hidden behind your back?  I haven't seen Little Owen for several days, I wondered where he was.

The magic trunk surprises Peggy Sue again.

Ooh look, what shall I wear today?  A new dress!

I must take off my hat...

It can sit there for now...

Next I need to take off my dress.

I am going to cheat and keep my shoes on...

I think I will wear the blue one.

Carefully does it.

Must hang my other dress up...oh look another new one, I will try that one on tomorrow.

I like blue!

Unfortunately there wasn't much fabric so not a lot of gathering was able to be done with this dress and skirt.  

The Magic Trunk

Oh my word this must be a magic trunk, there is another new dress hanging up in it today!  Peggy Sue says to herself as she looks inside.

She takes off her blue dress and reaches up to get down the new dress.

She puts it on.

I must hang my pretty dress back up.  She says as she hangs it back up.

There...all hanging up nicely.  

Oh look a sun hat to match.

Peggy Sue puts the sun hat on.

Ta da!  My new dress and sun hat!

Down by the pond

Sitting and waiting.

Now what shall I wear today?

Peggy Sue had a surprise when she went to her clothes trunk today...

A new dress!  She gasps.

A pretty blue, isn't it just lovely?  Oh wait before I take it down I better take my current dress off.  She says to herself.

She takes off her dress....

....and puts on her new dress.

Do I look pretty in this?  She asks

Of course you do Peggy Sue.

Don't I have such lovely clothes?  She looks up at her Sailor Dress.

Out in the garden Peggy Sue admires the flowers.
