Seems like she may be the muse I needed to get me inspired to sew and knit again - although I really should be making clothes for Sasha dolls for my sales table in a couple of weeks time...but at least I am finally being creative!
Trying a more casual look today.
New sweater and stretch jeans for a walk in the garden.
For a more 'girlie' look, a polka dot dress I also made for her yesterday.
Looking pensive.
She still needs a name...currently I think of her by the name she had when she arrived 'Ember' but for some reason Lisa keeps coming into my mind when I look at her...so I am not sure yet.
She looks great! Where did you get those adorable shoes?
ReplyDeleteThank you. She came with her shoes, they are the only pair she has, but I feel very lucky she has them as they are wonderful!
DeleteShe will tell you :-)
ReplyDeleteI am sure she will.
DeleteI love how the colours in the dress work with the colours in her boots!
ReplyDeleteAnd wow, you must be a quick knitter! :)
Not that quick...I knitted pretty much all day yesterday and I had started it the evening before! I of course should have been doing other things!
DeleteBeautiful creations. She's a lovely doll....I like Lisa for a name, you don't hear it as much, but it's very pretty. I love the photos of her in the polka dot dress and she looks lovely next to the green plants!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your lovely comments. I am still not sure on the name, but I am sure one will stick in time.
