Out for a walk.

Candid photos are often the best!

I caught these two girls out strolling this morning.

I wonder what they were talking about?

Birthday Party Time! - Opening the Presents

While Little Owen keeps the companions busy and entertained....

Peggy Sue unwraps her birthday presents!

First up is this lovely gift bag from Italy!  A most unexpected surprise.

Oh wow, a beautiful bag.  Peggy Sue exclaims.

A closer view, what lovely work.

There is another little gift as well, a gorgeous red necklace.

Look, isn't it beautiful?  Peggy Sue asks as she shows it off.

Thank you so very much, to 'Cataddict's' girls!

Oh, what is this?  Another little gift.

This one is from the Sasha girls at Rose Cottage.

Oh look!

My very own skipping rope!  It has such beautiful handles.

The girls all admire the skipping rope and hope they get a turn with it as well!

Oh, my a hobby horse, for when I can't go outside!  Peggy Sue says.

She gives her horse a big hug.

Giddy-up!  Peggy Sue says..

Meanwhile Little Owen is telling the companions a story...

...about his adventures....with lots of embellishments by the looks of things!

Peggy Sue has a ride round on her new hobby horse.

Emily and Edith discuss skipping and various skipping games...

Peggy Sue gives the other girls a ride.

Stevie has a turn first.

With her new bag over her shoulder, Peggy Sue chats to Nettie and Saige

I think she might be suggesting a shopping outing!

Now she has a bag, she just needs some pocket money and off they can go!

Party fun!

A mish mash post

Two little Maori boys checking out the wind damage to the garden...fortunately not a lot, just some windfalls and leaves.

The other day I found a little Pippa doll in the CS for 50p she was amongst some little McD barbie dolls, quite a surprise.  She didn't have any clothes but I knew I had a spare set of clothes at home for her.

I finally got round to dressing her.  She just needs shoes now!

I introduced to the other girls (my childhood two and I think my sisters (on the right)

Dancing Tammy (I think her name is) Pippa, my sister's Pippa and the new Pippa.  I didn't realise quite how much the other set of clothes had faded.

Saige has put on an Autumnal outfit I made last year and she is chatting to Kaya.

The girls are hoping to attend a harvest party this week.

I finally got round to making a pair of pink trousers for Camille to go with the pink sweater I made in February 2012.

I think pink is her colour!

Peggy Sue had a little parcel arrive in the post today.

A coat and hat

I bought this set from a friend of mine - it as part of the Sasha Festival 2012 Raffle prize.  I would love to know who made it as it is beautifully made and really suits her.

Knitting, a bargain and some gifts.

I started knitting a simple striped sweater last night, I just love this colour combination, bright and vibrant for these dull winter days.  Not quite sure who it will be for yet.

Today while wandering around our local shopping centre I popped in to one of the charity shops...imagine my delight and surprise when I saw an American Girl doll box...and priced at only £1 as well!

Well cutting down or not, there was no way I was leaving Mini AG Kaya in the shop especially priced at £1 and with her little mini book.

I'm absolutely delighted.

Not only that but just as I was writing this post a parcel arrived for me.

A lovely package of clothes from my friend Bama of  the blog,  Dolls of an Era.

She sent this delightful dress for Flora.

Flora is waving and saying a big thank you!

The dress looks so lovely on her and suits her colouring.

Thank you so very much it is delightful.

In the package were also a couple of really cute outfits for my two Galoob Baby Face girls...which I will show you tomorrow.

Chrissy's new dress

Introducing one of my American Girls, Chrissy, wearing a little summer dress I made for her yesterday as we have finally got some sunshine.  I think she is going to offer it to another girl though as it is a wee bit tight under the arms which is a shame as I think the colour suits her so well.  I will have to see if I have enough of the fabric (recycled sheet I believe it was) to make another.

Chrissy is hoping to get a chance to play with Kit & Kat today, the terrible twosome, lets hope they don't lead her into mischief!
