Friday

I thought I would post a picture of my three handmade dolls.

May Flower, Alice and Patsy

Peggy Sue has been out in the garden today.

Peggy Sue is delighted about how well her flower wheelbarrow is growing!

How does YOUR garden grow?

Delphine, my Fiona McDonald Travelling Doll

You will probably remember this little girl (A Fiona McDonald Travel Doll) I made the other day...

She now has a name, Delphine

Some underwear - a camisole and panties

A nightgown and shawl

A skirt and top

A little pair of shoes to go with the skirt and top

A dress and another pair of shoes.

The patterns for the underwear, nightgown, skirt and top (camisole) can be found on Beth's blog - a very talented lady who crochets and knits dolls, which incidentally are AMAZING!

The dress is a pattern from Ravelry 'Mini Molly's Christmas Dress, 2012 by Hazel Rose Spencer.  I used Cygnet DK and number 11 & 12 (UK) needles.   The shoes are a pattern also on Ravelry 'Little Shoes' by Brackenz Kraft.

She has been a fun little project and is now just awaiting on a cardigan.

I am going to make another, with a special idea in mind...

1st November!

I've been planning various projects - some perhaps realistic - some perhaps not.

Things I would like to make over the next couple of months - in time for Christmas.

A knitted Christmas dress for Peggy Sue.

Two knitted Duffle Coats - one for Amy (Purple) & one for Camille  (probably pink).

Christmas dresses for some of the American Girls - I need to pick two or three dolls to focus on...will probably be Chrissy, Saige and Kaya.

Secret Santa Swap KnC - I have some ideas, now need to get working on them!

Finish making a little wardrobe for my purple haired knitted doll....starting with the nightgown tonight.

Make a cloth doll.

A pair of undies and camisole were made yesterday for this little girl.

My next 'One Object 30 Days' is going to be 'Samson' the bull terrier.

A childhood toy - I remember taking this to school when I was around the age of 5 years (wouldn't have been any older as it was in England at the time) and I lost the baby on the way to school.   My Mum had to go back to look for it.  Fortunately she found it and they have been together ever since!

Another little knitted doll.

I made another little knitted doll last night and then this morning I made her a dress - I woke up early!  This one is for my Kidz n Cats girl Camille.

Camille seems rather taken with her and I will be interested to see what she calls her.

A knitted doll and a dress

Yesterday I knitted a little doll from a fun pattern on Ravelry 'Travelling Doll' by Fiona McDonald.  I saw a picture of the one on Ipernity and was inspired to make my own.  You can find the little one that inspired me on Beth's blog  here.

Of course she now needs some clothes...

I think I might make a couple more of these for the Kidz n Cats girls - customizing them to suit the two different girls.

I was kindly sent a pattern for my Kidz n Cats girls and I have to say it is a good fit.  My girls, being the older girls, have the wider shoulders so it is still a little bit too fitting, but she can move her arms without the back popping open!

I cheated and machine sewed the hem.  I then of course wonder why I did so as I really don't like seeing the machine stitching on the hem! You would think I would learn!

Oh and the linky doo dah to this fabulous pattern by Miss Connie can be found here.
