30 Days of Roo - Days 1 - 4

I decided it was about time to do another 30 Days One Object series and as we have recently been to Australia, thought it quite appropriate that Roo should feature.

1/30  Roo

2/30  What are these?

Roo, hasn't seen daisies before...all she has seen is dry desert so rather surprised by the little round objects on the green stuff.

3/30  Standing on one leg:

What do you mean I am cheating by using my tail to balance?  You must be imagining things!

4/30 Grey Sky?

Hmmm...Roo is confused, the sky is grey and the air is very damp and rather miserable...what is the meaning of this, she is used to large expanses of blue sky and warmth to laze around in!

30 Days One Object - 4: 20 - 22

20/30 Meeting friends?

I was surprised at the size of the two 'new' animals - they are not as big or as sturdy as Hippo. Not sure if this is how they are made now?

21/30 How's the shredding going Hippo?

A day spent dealing with paper work that has been neglected for far too long! Lots of shredding.

22/30 Hmmm...is this edible?

Fortunately for Hippo but maybe not for Chessie lunch was soon served...

Hippo seemed quite happy with the salad, but Chessie was very disappointed there were no cookies.

Later on while wandering round the garden centre Hippo struck up a conversation with a ram...

1st November!

I've been planning various projects - some perhaps realistic - some perhaps not.

Things I would like to make over the next couple of months - in time for Christmas.

A knitted Christmas dress for Peggy Sue.

Two knitted Duffle Coats - one for Amy (Purple) & one for Camille  (probably pink).

Christmas dresses for some of the American Girls - I need to pick two or three dolls to focus on...will probably be Chrissy, Saige and Kaya.

Secret Santa Swap KnC - I have some ideas, now need to get working on them!

Finish making a little wardrobe for my purple haired knitted doll....starting with the nightgown tonight.

Make a cloth doll.

A pair of undies and camisole were made yesterday for this little girl.

My next 'One Object 30 Days' is going to be 'Samson' the bull terrier.

A childhood toy - I remember taking this to school when I was around the age of 5 years (wouldn't have been any older as it was in England at the time) and I lost the baby on the way to school.   My Mum had to go back to look for it.  Fortunately she found it and they have been together ever since!
