Wet Play Day

What to do when the weather is wet, dull and miserable?  Why play of course! Forget the house work, this was much more fun.

April was delighted to get back into her yoga gear!

Alicia chose a new outfit to wear.

Although comfortable enough in herself to be a little 'blue' in her dress sense, Blue is still rather shy.

She still seems a little unsure of herself and her surroundings.

The boys, Tom & Brian met up to do some skateboarding.

Penelope Bluebell went out to do a spot of shopping and saw Wren, Blue and Alicia chatting.

Parker walks home from College and meets up with the boys and Trisha

The Scooby Gang are discussing their next case.

April is still practising her yoga.

Peter S is wondering whether he can be bothered with a game of chess...not that he is likely to find anyone else to join him at this stage...

Nelson and Tane Mahuta are discussing the World Cup Rugby.

The Hunt for Scooby Doo....

The Scooby Gang are waiting for Velma (aka Wren) to join them to discuss their next plan in their investigations into the disappearance of Scooby Doo.

Fred has found something!

In his hunt for Scooby Doo, Fred sees something sparkle up at him from the forest floor so goes to have a close look.

Captured! The Hunt for Scooby Doo Continues....

Scooby Doo is in trouble...

...Serious trouble!

But wait....where is the ghoul off to?

Is that....is that...is that what Scooby thinks it is?

In the mean time the gang are doing some serious investigation.

Fred has his magnifying glass...

Velma and Shaggy look on.  Shaggy gasps...fearing  the worst...

What's that Velma and Shaggy spy?

Back in the dungeon....  Scooby hears something?

Arghhh...not another strange being?

Oooh...errr....

The creepy crawlies are giving Scooby the shivers...

Later....

ARGHHH!  A ghoulish blood curdling scream is heard...

There is some jangling of chains....

Some angry stomping

Yikes!

Rehearsals begin....

The team have started rehearsing for the next big Scooby Doo movie.

They are pretty sure it is going to be titled 'Where IS Scooby Doo?'   

'Scooby, Scooby Doo, Where are you?'

It has to be surely as Scooby Doo has not yet joined them on location.  

Plus their screen shots and rehearsals involved looking for Scooby Doo.

Fred & Daphne search the undergrowth

Velma and Shaggy search various hideaways while Shaggy calls Scooby's name.

Later on they regroup...

He just can't be found anywhere!  Shaggy cries.

Fred tries to put it into perspective....

...that is until he sees the Scooby Wagon!

This just WILL NOT do.  He exclaims!  Barbie!  That has just got to go!

I can't possibly be seen driving something that has 'Barbie' written all over it, what will people think? Fred complains.

Velma tries to calm him down and tells him to at least go for a test drive and assures him that something WILL be done about the Barbie signs.

The girls cheer him on.  Once behind the wheel Fred seems to be a little happier.

The girls wave him off on his test drive....

....hoping that the set and prop designers will be doing something about the 'Barbie' insignia.

Fred arrived - the gang are almost complete!

As mentioned in a previous post...it was all my husband's fault!  At least that is what I am saying anyway.  It all started with a chance comment of course and one thing led to another, so of course Fred had to be ordered as after all the Scooby Gang isn't complete without him.  Friday morning, just before I set off for the Sasha Celebration Weekend, there was a knock on the door....

Yes a familiar looking packaged delivered by DHL

A Makie tube inside!

Fred has arrived.

Plus some assorted shoes and in the white bag a wig for April - aka Daphne.

I am pretty pleased with how he turned out.  

I spent ages agonizing over his features trying to get them 'Fred' like.

I don't think I did too badly within the confines of the Makie maker.

Today I made his outfit.

Ta da!  Meet Fred (Herman) Jones.

The Scooby Gang are almost complete!

Nelson as Shaggy, Wren as Velma, Fred as himself and April as Daphne.

They are just awaiting on Scooby Doo....who appears to be missing!

On another note....

It appears Wren smuggled herself into the Sasha Weekend disguised as Velma and got up to some high jinks!
