Show & Tell

I realised that I forgot to post the picture of the little 'surprise party dress' that I made for my friend.

This one she didn't know about.

I added a little flower to the dress and the headband.

I then made one for mini Saige.

I've had a little change round...

Bertie, Edith & Betsy are playing

Anne-Marie and Catherine are playing a game of Ludo.

Peggy Sue has been for a walk with her little dog.

It is lovely to have her more actively involved in the day to day things again.

Some little knitting

Every now and again I make some clothes for a friends little cabbage patch doll 'Twinny'.

Now Twinny's Twin went missing so I hadn't been able to make anything for a while...so in the end I had to let her know what had happened and could I borrow another little doll `(Twinny's Twin's Twin) as a model.  I said to her that once I had a replacement the original would probably turn up when I wasn't looking for her, and what do you know Twinny's Twin (TT) turned up the very next day!  I did this little photograph story scene for her.

Having overdone things somewhat the last three days I had a quiet day today doing some knitting.

The pattern I used was for a Mini AG doll, but I thought it would fit the little cabbage patch dolls as a maxi dress and I think it is a good fit.  For fun I tried it on four different dolls.

First up here it is on TTT.

Next TT tried it on.

Pukifee Bonnie wanted to try it on, but it really was too big for her.

Mini Saige also tried it on as it was a dress originally for a mini AG doll after all.

A little mosaic.

On a roll I then knitted another.

TTT looks very happy with it.

Again modelled by Saige who is hoping to get the next dress!

Knitting, a bargain and some gifts.

I started knitting a simple striped sweater last night, I just love this colour combination, bright and vibrant for these dull winter days.  Not quite sure who it will be for yet.

Today while wandering around our local shopping centre I popped in to one of the charity shops...imagine my delight and surprise when I saw an American Girl doll box...and priced at only £1 as well!

Well cutting down or not, there was no way I was leaving Mini AG Kaya in the shop especially priced at £1 and with her little mini book.

I'm absolutely delighted.

Not only that but just as I was writing this post a parcel arrived for me.

A lovely package of clothes from my friend Bama of  the blog,  Dolls of an Era.

She sent this delightful dress for Flora.

Flora is waving and saying a big thank you!

The dress looks so lovely on her and suits her colouring.

Thank you so very much it is delightful.

In the package were also a couple of really cute outfits for my two Galoob Baby Face girls...which I will show you tomorrow.
