One of those 'just because' photo opportunities.

The lovely Kaya.

It's a party...

The Dreary's Party is in full swing...although again it seems like Skelly is already past standing upright!

Although we don't celebrate Halloween, three of my girls  want to wish all our friends who DO, a Happy Halloween.

A mish mash post

Two little Maori boys checking out the wind damage to the garden...fortunately not a lot, just some windfalls and leaves.

The other day I found a little Pippa doll in the CS for 50p she was amongst some little McD barbie dolls, quite a surprise.  She didn't have any clothes but I knew I had a spare set of clothes at home for her.

I finally got round to dressing her.  She just needs shoes now!

I introduced to the other girls (my childhood two and I think my sisters (on the right)

Dancing Tammy (I think her name is) Pippa, my sister's Pippa and the new Pippa.  I didn't realise quite how much the other set of clothes had faded.

Saige has put on an Autumnal outfit I made last year and she is chatting to Kaya.

The girls are hoping to attend a harvest party this week.

I finally got round to making a pair of pink trousers for Camille to go with the pink sweater I made in February 2012.

I think pink is her colour!

Peggy Sue had a little parcel arrive in the post today.

A coat and hat

I bought this set from a friend of mine - it as part of the Sasha Festival 2012 Raffle prize.  I would love to know who made it as it is beautifully made and really suits her.

Friday Frolics.

Considering we don't celebrate Halloween in any form whatsover...or at least haven't done in the past, how come two of my girls are now dressed in Halloween dresses?

Peggy Sue is is this beautifully smocked dress that I think really suits her colouring.

She wants to wear it to school...but somehow I don't think she will be allowed to!

I am still looking at her and sighing...not sure if I am happy with her, wondering if I should have left things how they were...oh dear.

The other girl dressed up is Kaya

I made this dress last year and she found it in the draw and decided it was exactly what she wanted to wear!

Again I think she looks lovely in it, even if it is a little big for her.

She has a very serene face.

Whilst the afternoon is warm and sunny - what a change from this morning when it was tipping down with rain, little Thomas decided to spend some time in the garden.

He visited the mouse family at their cottage and said hello to them.

He wandered round the garden with his little smile, a cheerful happy boy.

Knitting, a bargain and some gifts.

I started knitting a simple striped sweater last night, I just love this colour combination, bright and vibrant for these dull winter days.  Not quite sure who it will be for yet.

Today while wandering around our local shopping centre I popped in to one of the charity shops...imagine my delight and surprise when I saw an American Girl doll box...and priced at only £1 as well!

Well cutting down or not, there was no way I was leaving Mini AG Kaya in the shop especially priced at £1 and with her little mini book.

I'm absolutely delighted.

Not only that but just as I was writing this post a parcel arrived for me.

A lovely package of clothes from my friend Bama of  the blog,  Dolls of an Era.

She sent this delightful dress for Flora.

Flora is waving and saying a big thank you!

The dress looks so lovely on her and suits her colouring.

Thank you so very much it is delightful.

In the package were also a couple of really cute outfits for my two Galoob Baby Face girls...which I will show you tomorrow.
