The Rose Gardens are open again!

There are few things Peggy Sue likes more than wandering through the rose gardens and she was delighted to hear they had opened again for the summer season. 

She spent a pleasant morning meandering along the paths 

seeing what was in bloom

admiring the flowers

and smelling the blooms.

Before she knew it, it was time to return home.

Now what shall I wear today?

Peggy Sue had a surprise when she went to her clothes trunk today...

A new dress!  She gasps.

A pretty blue, isn't it just lovely?  Oh wait before I take it down I better take my current dress off.  She says to herself.

She takes off her dress....

....and puts on her new dress.

Do I look pretty in this?  She asks

Of course you do Peggy Sue.

Don't I have such lovely clothes?  She looks up at her Sailor Dress.

What a lovely way to spend a warm & sunny afternoon, at the Gardens of the Rose.

Peggy Sue enjoyed wandering around the garden and admiring all the flowers.

She looked as pretty as a picture herself with the lovely dress that Elisa made her and a summer hat.

I love this photo in sepia as well.

Peggy Sue just loves the scent of the roses.

As well as their beauty.
