It's a party...

The Dreary's Party is in full swing...although again it seems like Skelly is already past standing upright!

Although we don't celebrate Halloween, three of my girls  want to wish all our friends who DO, a Happy Halloween.

Another little knitted doll.

I made another little knitted doll last night and then this morning I made her a dress - I woke up early!  This one is for my Kidz n Cats girl Camille.

Camille seems rather taken with her and I will be interested to see what she calls her.

A knitted doll and a dress

Yesterday I knitted a little doll from a fun pattern on Ravelry 'Travelling Doll' by Fiona McDonald.  I saw a picture of the one on Ipernity and was inspired to make my own.  You can find the little one that inspired me on Beth's blog  here.

Of course she now needs some clothes...

I think I might make a couple more of these for the Kidz n Cats girls - customizing them to suit the two different girls.

I was kindly sent a pattern for my Kidz n Cats girls and I have to say it is a good fit.  My girls, being the older girls, have the wider shoulders so it is still a little bit too fitting, but she can move her arms without the back popping open!

I cheated and machine sewed the hem.  I then of course wonder why I did so as I really don't like seeing the machine stitching on the hem! You would think I would learn!

Oh and the linky doo dah to this fabulous pattern by Miss Connie can be found here.

A mish mash post

Two little Maori boys checking out the wind damage to the garden...fortunately not a lot, just some windfalls and leaves.

The other day I found a little Pippa doll in the CS for 50p she was amongst some little McD barbie dolls, quite a surprise.  She didn't have any clothes but I knew I had a spare set of clothes at home for her.

I finally got round to dressing her.  She just needs shoes now!

I introduced to the other girls (my childhood two and I think my sisters (on the right)

Dancing Tammy (I think her name is) Pippa, my sister's Pippa and the new Pippa.  I didn't realise quite how much the other set of clothes had faded.

Saige has put on an Autumnal outfit I made last year and she is chatting to Kaya.

The girls are hoping to attend a harvest party this week.

I finally got round to making a pair of pink trousers for Camille to go with the pink sweater I made in February 2012.

I think pink is her colour!

Peggy Sue had a little parcel arrive in the post today.

A coat and hat

I bought this set from a friend of mine - it as part of the Sasha Festival 2012 Raffle prize.  I would love to know who made it as it is beautifully made and really suits her.

A Sunday afternoon

The wind is building up outside and it is getting cooler.  The girls have been playing inside today....

Amy & Camille (still waiting on her 'own' name) have discovered a book with cat verses and poems in it.

In her bedroom Peggy Sue is busy working on her journal.

She found a picture she wanted to stick into her journal and is now colouring it in.

Little Owen keeps a close watch.

Careful you don't go out of the lines Peggy Sue...

I'm just checking it is okay

She returns to colouring in the pumpkin head.

The plans continue...

It seems that the Green Interloper... has been removed...or at least I am guessing that Viktor has discreetly suggested they go for a walk so the girls can discuss the party.

Agnes (2) asks Ginger Marley if she would mind playing for them.

Agnes (1) joins them and sits down with Marley.

It seems Skeleton is still rather inebriated.

Uh oh..it seems the Green Interloper has left something behind...

I hope it isn't a listening device, otherwise he will know all their plans!

Tassels at last & a dress for Camille.

Last night I finished another thing on my 'To Do' List for Peggy Sue's Autumn/Winter wardrobe, and that was putting tassels on her poncho.  I also knitted a grey beret to make the outfit complete.

Using a new pattern I had printed off the internet I made a dress for Camille.  I'm not especially happy with the fit, even though it was supposed to fit a KnC doll, it is very tight round the sleeves and across the back.  Still it is change for Camille, so will do for now until I make her something else.

I made her some tights to go underneath the dress.

I used the existing hem as I used a child's dress for the fabric.

I may well end up making it shorter and hand hemming it, turning it into a tunic to wear over trousers.
