Wren decided it would be a nice afternoon to have a little wander around the Regent's Park in London. The park looked stunning, all the flowers were out, the gardens were spectacular and roses in Queen Mary's Gardens were glorious and the scent wonderful.
The afternoon was hot and balmy, a true summer's day!
That's a stunning spot for photos - the flowers are gorgeous! And I love how the orange in the clothes just pops out amongst them!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers, beautiful pictures. Lucky Wren.
ReplyDeleteWren has an amazing wardrobe. A somewhat 70's vibe to this outfit? Looks good amongst the flowers.
Oh this outfit I love....it was pretty much mint and belonged to a Palitoy Silky doll from yes, the seventies...I have hung on to it for a long time, and when going through some dolls clothes the other day thought it would be Makie size and of course Wren had to try it on was delighted it fit!
DeleteThe park was simply beautiful
Palitoy Silky? I had to google that one...but it does suit Wren really well and the colours look very good on her.
DeleteGorgeous flowers..happy little Wren :)
ReplyDeleteAren't they just? So lucky to have a park such as this in the middle of a huge city like London.
DeleteWhat a wonderful group of posts! Wren looks so happy among the colorful flowers. The red and purple/blue bed is particularly stunning. I love seeing such stunning beds in the middle of cities and other urban scenes. It just seems to add that special touch of beauty, which makes the world all the more lovely.
ReplyDeleteI think your photo challenge idea is wonderful and the photos you take to meet the challenge are just beautiful. I love all the different moods you capture and all the different lovely dolls that you feature.
I was impressed by the varied population on your latest doll shelf post. I must say that your three barefoot girls are just lovely. Your transformation of the Bratz dolls was amazing and I so much prefer their looks now. Those Bratz dolls really do look rather tarty with their heavy and, I feel, overdone makeup, and to think that the focus group for those dolls is pre-teen girls!
The sweet, natural look that you created for them is so much nicer, and I think much more appropriate. Perhaps you should start your own Barefoot Girl doll line from made over Bratz dolls. I know I would love to buy one, if I had a little girl to give it to.
Thank you again for all your lovely posts, and the happiness and pleasure your blogs bring to so many.

Thank you for your lovely comments and especially those about my three Barefoot Girls. I do plan to do some more, but trying to find some Bratz to do them to and then the 'bare feet' has been proving problematic! All those years I used to see Bratz in Charity shops and passed over them, and now they are nowhere to be seen...in fact our charity shops never seem to have any dolls in them anymore!
