Fonzie Action Doll

I thought I would do a series of posts on the even dates of this month featuring my male dolls.  I can revisit those I have collected over the years and also ascertain if they are to stay or not.

First up is Fonzie.  Otherwise known as Arthur 'Fonzie' Fonzarelli from the 1970s TV show 'Happy days'. I remember watching 'Happy Days'  as a child!

He is 8 inches tall and has a lever on his back to press down and he then raises his arms to give a thumbs up.  He is marked on the back of his neck:  1976 Paramount Picture Corporation.
:
On his back:
Mego Corp 1976
Patent Pending
Made in Hong Kong.

As far as I am aware he has his complete outfit which consists of his boots, jeans, white t shirt and black leather jacket.

  1. I remember watching Happy Days but never knew there were dolls. Were any of the other characters turned into dolls as well?

    1. I really don't know Linda - I didn't know they did dolls either until I saw Fonzie on Ebay in the early days....

  2. I've never seen one of these before, but he looks like a real conversation piece - such an interesting doll!

    1. He is rather interesting indeed. Not to everyone's taste but fun to have in a collection I think..
