My Barefoot Dolls.

I have called my Bratz repaints 'Barefoot Dolls' as they remind me of a time when I was young in New Zealand when I used to run around barefoot all the time.  Children are still seen walking around New Zealand with no shoes on!  The freedom of it is wonderful.

Barefoot Girl Number 2 - this is the second girl I have attempted.

For some reason the light has caught her lips, there isn't colour missing.

Her before photos.

Next up is my Barefoot Boy

His before photos below.

Not forgetting of course my first Barefoot Girl 'Fern' who you have already seen.

Finally my last Barefoot Girl.

Raven black hair.

  1. oh my goodness! Raven is amazing! She looks like a little girl who gets into mischief, experiments with poisons (only for good of course), and investigates mysteries. I adore her. She's fantastic. They're all fantastic. You have such talent. :-)

    1. Thank you, you are very kind! I have to admit, she is fast becoming a favourite after Fern ....she could well be a character from a book.

  2. Raven is adorable. I love her innocent glance. I can't get over how much sweeter they look after you've repainted them. Great job! They look like they have such "kind" personalities now. My 3 year old always wants to walk around barefoot outside..it must be a strong instinct in children!

    1. Laughing as Raven wasn't her name....but looks like it is now! ;-) It is fun to walk around barefoot - much healthier in general than trying to cram feet in shoes all the time. Of course you have to be careful what you step on at times!

  3. Who knew Bratz could look so nice and friendly? I never liked those dolls but repainting them makes a huge difference. Their original shoes are a problem, I think, so they probably much prefer going barefoot. But that means you need to find dolls with bare feet otherwise you end up with dolls without feet and that would be quite sad. Does that make sense? Anyway, I like your barefoot dolls.

    1. I never liked them either...now I wish I'd got a few when they used to appear in our local charity shops....never see them any more - in fact rarely ever see dolls in them. Their original shoes are generally horrid aren't they? Finding dolls with bare feet is proving very problematic as is finding the actual feet!

Glad you like my little group. It has been a fun little project.
